Candida and Sugar

Most health professionals agree that the number one factor in the overgrowth of candida is too much sugar. The average amount of sugar eaten today is about 100 times what was eaten 100 years ago. And even then most of the sugar came from fruits and vegetables and a little bit of honey.

Sugar isn't the only cause of candida. It's followed closely by the overuse of antibiotics and substances that suppress the immune system.
